Strut brace, F, VW Golf IV/Jetta IV 1999-05; all models (2.0, 12 valve VR6, 24 valve VR6, and 1.8t) except R32; polished stainless steel; our strut braces are easy to install and improve handling by stiffening your chassis. Your chassis requires this stiffening when you increase your tire and/or wheel size or aggressively drive your car. The stiffer chassis improves steering, improves weight transfer and maximizes handling. Each strut brace is manufactured from high strength stainless steel tubing, mandrel bent, and polished to a high luster to improve its look in your engine compartment. All fasteners are plated for corrosion resistance.
