Direct bolt on replacement high performance filter system. By placing the intake at the furthest practical point from the heat of the engine our intake gains about 3-5 horsepower and 2-3 foot-lbs of torque depending upon the ambient air. Location is extremely important. This intake filter is located directly alongside the battery (battery acts as a great heat shield) just behind the factory cold air intake. It does not extend down into the lower bumper area thus reducing the chance of water ingestion during wet weather.
